Project : Heritage at Cleveland Circle
Location : Brighton, Massachusetts
Description : Developed in a dense urban neighborhood of Boston, Heritage at Cleveland Circle is considered a national model for intergenerational assisted living. The four story brick building was carefully designed with substantial community input to work well within its location. Its innovative steel and plank design was used to keep the building’s height similar to adjacent structures. In addition to its 90 apartments, the project includes a child care center for 95 children and a community center. The interior design of the building includes a replicated corner delicatessen, community meeting space, and many themed nostalgic rooms. The residence was named as the outstanding assisted living community in the country in 1996.
