Project : General Cinema Location : Burlington, Massachusetts Description : This 12-screen theater was situated next to a computer chip manufacturer who could not interrupt production during construction. Cranshaw had to create an acceptable blasting pattern and schedule to accommodate the restrictions. The individual theatres were carefully constructed to meet stringent acoustic specifications in order to achieve Lucasfilm validation. The project was constructed in record time through one of Boston's snowiest winters. The theater still achieved General Cinema's highest ranking for acoustics and quality.
