75 SL, Medford, MA (top, left photo) Phase V of Station Landing is a seven-story multi-family apartment building called 75 SL and will include 168 loft-style apartment homes and 8,500 square feet of prime retail space facing Route 28. This building will include 53 studios, 62 one bedroom units, 34 two bedroom units and 19 three bedroom units. 75 SL will be one of the first LEED certified, eco-friendly apartment buildings in the Boston area. The building will include many sustainable design elements including low-flow plumbing fixtures. Energy Star rated appliance including Bosch washer/dryers, recycled materials and a “green” roof. 75 SLis projected to open in June 2009.  Boston Sports Club, Woburn, MA (top, right) The BSC in Woburn is a three-story, 50,278 square foot fitness and health center equipped with swimming pool, exercise studios, weight rooms, child care center and lounge. Exterior finishes are architectural metal panels, glass curtain wall and brick masonry. The club is scheduled to open in November 2008. Linden Square, Wellesley, MA (bottom three photos) The redevelopment of Linden Square consisted of five phases of construction on an 18.4 acre site totaling approximately $27 million. Four of the five phases were constructed in less than two years and were completed in August 2008. The last phase of construction is presently in the design stages. On site, existing utilities were reconfigured and supplemented to support the construction of three new facilities totaling 70,000 square feet and a Roche Bros supermarket, CVS Pharmacy and Citizens Bank. In addition to the ground up construction, approximately 600 linear feet of facade renovation was carried out on three of the existing structures as well as new tenant improvements and demising construction for future tenants. Four new multi-family townhouse units were incorporated into the redevelopment plan totaling 9,000 square feet. The residential component is slated for L.E.E.D. platinum certification as a model for sustainable residential construction in Wellesley. |
